Mill Pond Social Club - Paddleboard and Kayaking on the Mill Pond Sunday August 16th, 2026

Kayaking and Paddleboarding on the Mill Pond, Cambridge, Ontario

The Mill Pond is located behind our house and is a gem we want to share with more people. So we are having a leisure event on Sunday August 16th, from 10am-Noon. It is located at the end of Spring Street in the Hespeler part of Cambridge.

There is a map below showing the two areas you can get on the pond at. 

NOTE: the pond is very shallow right now, so I am not sure if canoes would work. Definitely kayaks and paddleboards can go on the pond. We will guide through the area if your new, to ensure you don't get stuck in the sediment.

The pond's wildlife is simply spectacular. There are always egrets, great blue herons, and so much more to see.

You do not have to preregister just show up. If there is a light rain we will still go out.

Yes you should wear a lifejacket. Transport Canada approved lifejackets are for sale at Canadian Tire or Sail.
