Windsor born, Canadian author Paul Langan will share insights into Windsor's
forgotten musical legends, focusing on four remarkable musical acts that shaped
the region's cultural landscape:
The Chantones: A vocal group active from 1954 to 1976, known
for their versatility across multiple musical genres and backing rockabilly legend
Jack Scott on all his hit recordings.
The Brothers-In-Law: A folk group featuring police officers that
recorded 4 albums for the legendary Arc Records in Canada
Dolores Carroll: Her only single featured the first appearance
of the legendary Four Tops on backing vocals.
Dorothy Collins: Famous as being the star of the American
Hit Parade TV show in the early 1950s.
